Almost Audi levels. The radiator cooling pack is heavy and awkward to lift out. Then front diff is awkward to work with. Rack is a nightmare to remove. Not so much on this one as it hasn’t had a chance to rust yet. But it is very time consuming and pays next to nothing to do. I always lose my ass when I have to take them down this far.

It’s my Saturday, so I'm still lounging around in bed, thinking about heading downstairs for breakfast/lunch. As long as I don't walk I can avoid pain, hence why I'm still horizontal hours after I should have been up and moving.

That’s why you have to go to school overseas where tuition is dirt cheap. My kids are learning Spanish and Italian, and I’m in the process of getting them Italian passports so they can also afford to drink coffee and go to school.

But aren’t you a Gen Xer? When you were in school tuition was dirt cheap and the economy was great.

First, brilliant idea...I’ve never actually heard anyone propose that, and I just assumed tuition was getting ridiculous everywhere (I did two separate semesters abroad — Spain and UK — and both were lifechanging).

My tuition was pretty cheap in the late 90s, but the economy? Dot com burst, 9/11 happened, jobs were scarce, then the Great Recession several years later, just as I was hitting my professional stride .

Basically I’ve gone through the “Millenial crisis” twice over in the past 20 years. It sets your career back a bit, but it’s definitely easier to catch up once you have some experience from tough times.

Just returned from my second delivery trip to the same hospital. Now I'm leaving the warehouse to deliver to... you guessed it, that same hospital. Delivery be like that sometimes.

Yeah, I had a few classmates go to medical school in Mexico and Europe because of the tuition.

I guess the late ‘90s were also a bit of a shitshow. I always forget that 9/11 was a hit to certain sectors of the economy. I have a lot of friends in the defense sector and 01-12ish was very lucrative for them. You just had to do sketchy shit in order to make money.

There are like 800 of them in 14 states , from Maine down to Virginia and as far west as North Dakota . There’s even one in Penn Station in New York City.
